TelecityGroup acquires Internet Facilitators Limited (IFL)
The acquisition consolidates TelecityGroup’s leading position in North West England and offers potential to meet growth of demand in the future.
TelecityGroup, Europe’s industry-leading provider of premium network independent data centres, has acquired Internet Facilitators Limited (‘IFL’), a carrier neutral data centre in Manchester, UK, for £21.1m.
TelecityGroup is expanding its presence in commercial centres across Europe and Manchester offers exciting prospects for significant growth. This acquisition represents a unique opportunity for TelecityGroup and offers a complementary strategic fit with the Group’s existing presence in the city. The IFL facility in Manchester will add 1,600 sqm (1.4 MW) of high quality capacity to the existing Group estate, and has the potential for significant further growth.
