The transaction was publicly announced on October 17, 2018.

The company will be integrated into Samsung’s Networks business, laying the foundation for Samsung to provide AI-based network analytics and automation offerings to finely tune customer experiences in the 5G era. Zhilabs was founded in 2008 and backed by Bullnet Capital, a Spanish technology-focused venture capital fund.
