Acquisition marks 18th transaction advised this year by leading global M&A technology advisor, Mooreland Partners
Dublin, Ireland / Toronto, Canada – December 4, 2014 – Mooreland Partners, the leading independent investment bank providing M&A and private capital advisory services to the global technology industry, today announced that it acted as the exclusive financial advisor to OpenJaw Technologies on its sale to GuestLogix Inc. (TSE:GXI). The acquisition of OpenJaw, which offers a market leading e-commerce platform technology to the travel industry, marks the 18th transaction advised by Mooreland Partners this year and further solidifies its position among the most active advisors to the digital media sector. The combined company will be able to deliver end-to-end solutions for travel retailing, from the first point of interaction with the traveler throughout the entire customer lifecycle and across all major verticals, according to GuestLogix (see press release). The acquisition was financed via a bought deal public offering, and also involved an equity rollover component by existing OpenJaw shareholders.
