Rick joined Mooreland as Managing Director in 2007. Rick has over 20 years of experience in technology investment banking and finance. He has been involved in nearly 100 completed transactions, including a wide variety of domestic and cross-border transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, private placements, leveraged recapitalizations, privatizations and restructuring. Prior to joining Mooreland, Rick was a managing director and Co-Head of SVB Alliant's Global Hardware M&A Group.

Prior to SVB Alliant, Rick was head of the Computer Infrastructure Group at Broadview International LLC where he specialized in providing M&A advice to producers of computer peripherals, storage, embedded systems and test and measurement instruments and production equipment. Prior to Broadview, Rick was a member of the U.S. corporate finance group of Robert Fleming Inc., an international merchant banking organization, and its Asian affiliate, Jardine Fleming. Prior to Fleming, Rick practiced public accounting with Touche, Ross & Co. Rick is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant.
