Anne Perlman is an Executive Director at Mooreland. In this role, Anne offers CEOs and venture capitalists insight into the trends and issues taking place in the software, Internet and services industries.
In addition to working with Mooreland, Anne is an independent consultant to CEOs and the management teams of high-tech software and hardware companies, primarily in business development and marketing.

From 2001-2002, Anne was CEO of MessageOne. From 1997-2001, she was the first CEO of Moai Technologies, a privately held software company. Under her leadership, the company completed four rounds of private funding totaling $54 million and filed to go public. Immediately prior to joining Moai, Anne was a strategic management consultant assisting Internet startups and other high-tech companies. Prior to consulting, she was employed at Tandem Computers (now HP) as vice president and general manager of multimedia, an internal startup that exceeded its financial goals; vice president of marketing; and president of Tandem Source Company, a successful turnaround yielding a $40 million, profitable business. Before joining Tandem, she spent four years at Computer Curriculum Corporation (now Pearson Education Technologies), where she was director of marketing.
Anne earned bachelors degrees in mathematics and economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
