Holt specializes in communications software and services and advises companies in sectors such as wireless and wireline software applications, operating and business support systems, infrastructure software and applications. |

Holt is a former partner at Broadview Holdings, a global information technology merger and acquisition advisory and investment firm, where he focused on the communications software and services industries.
Prior to Broadview, Holt was a full-time consultant with Omnipoint, a PCS service provider and developer of wireless communications equipment. Holt also served as Managing Director of a division of Tiphook plc, London, a $1.5 billion transportation equipment rental and leasing organization. He was also a vice president at Smith Barney, Harris, Upham & Co. within the merger and acquisition group, focusing on the telecommunications and marketing industries, and an associate with Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.
Holt serves on the boards of the National Audubon Society, Audubon Connecticut (as Chairman of this state operating Board of the National Audubon Society) and the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters, and serves on the advisory board of Jefferson Partners Capital, a Toronto based venture capital firm. Holt holds an MBA degree from the International Institute of Management Development in Switzerland and a BA degree from Colby College.
